Biography - Dorie Vazquez-Nolan
Dorie Vazquez-Nolan has served as the Executive Director of Care House, the Macomb County Child Advocacy Center since 2007. She has worked for Care House since 2001 and previously served as Director of Operations. Prior to moving to Macomb County in 1999, Ms. Vazquez- Nolan worked as a legislative aide for 15 years in the Michigan House of Representatives, including four years in the Office of the Speaker of the House.
Ms. Vazquez-Nolan currently serves as an appointee on the Governor’s Task Force to Prevent Child Sexual Abuse and the Vice-Chair of the Michigan Chapter of the National Children’s Alliance. She attended Michigan State University and is married to Michael Nolan. They reside in Macomb Township and have two children, Trey and Kelsey.
